Dog attack reporting
If any penguin is suspected to have been attacked by dog, please notify 0800 DOC HOT and the local council immediately, so they are aware that an attack has occurred. If the penguin is alive, please seek immediate medical treatment from your nearest wildlife rehabilitator or vet clinic.
To report a dog attack please fill in the form below. This is to help increase our knowledge about the impacts of dogs on our penguin colonies across Aotearoa.
