We started an ongoing project with the Portobello School, Dunedin, where students will be observing kororā through video clips recorded by a trail camera.

We were lucky to meet a great group of people involved in penguin conservation and advocacy in the Banks Peninsula.

NZPI is in full support of the creation of the bylaw to regulate the use of vehicles on the beaches in the Clutha District. This will provide better protection to the unique and threatened species that frequent these areas.

Our submission to DOC about the proposed Hākaimangō-Matiatia Marine Reserve on Waiheke Island, which would improve the breeding success and survival of kororā / Little Penguins in the area.
