Kororā Live Streaming Cams

Kororā TV

Fancy some cute companions for your work day or during a cosy night in? Tune in to the live streaming cams set up in Wellington and Oamaru, to see kororā at home in their nest boxes loafing, preening, incubating eggs, raising chicks or moulting. Check out the outdoor cam to watch them bond with their mates, gather important nesting material or fiercely defend their home!

Best viewed with sound on for the soundscape and sonic sense of the surrounding environment. Enjoy!

The below nest cams are projects by the Urban Wildlife Trust. You can visit their website here: urbanwildlifetrust.org

Note, the entrance to the colony and exit to the sea is the dark hole to the right of the screen. During the night you will be able to see kororā coming and going as they arrive back to feed their chicks. Once the young start to leave the nesting boxes, they will venture out at night waiting for their parents to return.
